CAIMed has joined the Biomedical Transfer Circle, a collaborative initiative dedicated to advancing knowledge and technology transfer in the biomedical innovation ecosystem across Lower Saxony.
Co-hosted by IBT Lower Saxony and TRAIN , the Biomedical Transfer Circle brings together transfer professionals from more than 25 institutions to address key challenges in academic commercialization and innovation transfer.
The latest meeting focused on two critical topics: enabling greater standardization in intellectual property (IP) transfer processes and sharing practical experiences with different IP transfer models, including licensing, asset sales, equity participation, and virtual share structures.
Representing CAIMed, Managing Director Dr. Johannes Winter participated in the discussions, highlighting the potential of AI-driven innovations for clinical applications and the framework conditions required for successful translation into practice.
By joining the Circle, CAIMed strengthens the network with its expertise at the intersection of artificial intelligence, causal methods, and medical research. The participation creates new opportunities for collaboration, translation of research into practice, and the development of innovative biomedical ventures.
The Biomedical Transfer Circle continues to serve as a platform that connects institutions, expertise, and innovation stakeholders across Lower Saxony, helping transform scientific excellence into societal and economic impact.
