The Lower Saxony Center for AI and Causal Methods focuses on three globally relevant and challenging medical areas:

CAIMed's research portfolio is grouped into four methodical clusters: AI & Semantics, AI & Decisions, AI & Active Agents and AI & Signals. 12 CAIMed junior research groups are conducting research in these clusters on aspects of the three medical focus areas. Researchers from Hannover, Göttingen and Braunschweig as well as associated top national and international scientists are involved.
