At CAIMed, multidisciplinary teams from AI, medicine, and humanities are working together on solutions for an AI-optimized path to health. This includes more precise clinical decision-making, adaptive diagnostics and therapies for cancer and cardiovascular diseases, and improved understanding of still poorly researched post-acute infection syndromes.
As part of our two-day Scientific Advisory Board meeting, we had the opportunity to draw on the expertise of outstanding international researchers, technologists, and strategists, and to work together toward a meaningful and impactful future for CAIMed.
A sincere thank you to our researchers in AI, medical informatics, bioinformatics, statistics, mathematics, physics, ethics, law, biomedical basic research, and clinical practice for your insightful and passionate contributions. We also greatly appreciate the valuable feedback from our scientific advisory and supervisory boards, both in affirming successful paths forward and in highlighting areas where we can continue to improve. We also extend our sincere thanks to our supporters at zukunft.niedersachsen, the joint research funding program of the Niedersächsischen Ministeriums für Wissenschaft und Kultur (MWK) and the Volkswagen Stiftung.
The course is set for 2026 toward an AI-optimized path to health.
