Governance

The Lower Saxony Center for Artificial Intelligence and Causal Methods in Medicine (CAIMed) is a cross-university research center of selected top institutions from Lower Saxony. CAIMed is managed by a scientific board of directors and a management board. The Board of Directors is appointed by the Lower Saxony Ministry of Science and Culture (MWK) on the recommendation of the Supervisory Board. The Supervisory Board consists of the members of the CAIMed partner institutions from Hanover, Göttingen and Braunschweig nominated by the Presidia. The center is advised by an independent, internationally renowned scientific advisory board in its strategic and content-related orientation.
