At the Medizin.Technik.Kongress<\/a><\/em> organised by NiedersachsenMetall, which explored synergies between the metal industry, automotive sector, and medical technology, CAIMed was explicitly named as an example of this approach in action. Minister Falko Mohrs emphasised that Lower Saxony\u2019s goal is not only to conduct strong research, but to translate it into real-world applications \u2013 and cited CAIMed as a concrete example of AI-supported clinical decision-making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Dr. Denise Hilfiker-Kleiner<\/a>, President of Hannover Medical School, added her perspective on Hannover\u2019s strong research and transfer landscape: anchored by excellence clusters at MHH and Leibniz University, and complemented by close partnerships with regional healthcare providers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For CAIMed, the reception at the congress reflects a commitment the centre has held from the outset: progress in medical AI does not happen in isolation, but through the interplay of science, clinical practice, and society.
