G\u00f6ttingen Campus Institute for Data Science CIDAS. He is also Managing Director of the GWDG, a joint scientific computing center of the Max Planck Society and the University of G\u00f6ttingen, a national high-performance computing center and AI service center. He is also CIO of the University and University Medical Center in G\u00f6ttingen.
